Jio Worldwide Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions of Jio Worldwide supersede all previous terms, amendments, supplements, and other prior statements concerning the rates and conditions of Jio Worldwide services. These terms apply to all services provided by Jio Worldwide LLC.
The Jio Worldwide Terms & Conditions consist of the following components:
- Information about Our Services on Jio Worldwide’s website (U.S. and U.S. export services)
- U.S., U.S. export, U.S. import, and U.S. retail rates
- These Jio Worldwide Terms & Conditions
- Jio Worldwide’s Ground Tariff
Note that the information in the “Our Services” section of the Jio Worldwide Terms & Conditions is not part of the contract of carriage. Jio Worldwide has the right to modify, amend, change, or supplement these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to rates, services, features, and other terms, without prior notice. Only an officer from the Legal Department of Jio Worldwide or a successor position can authorise any supplement or modification to these Terms & Conditions.
No agent, employee, or other party to Jio Worldwide shall have any right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Notwithstanding the preceding clause, no modification that relates to one particular customer and forms part of a Jio Worldwide Sales or Customer Agreement shall be subject to this restriction on amendment. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held by any court to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the other provisions shall not be affected.
Failure to enforce or apply any term, condition, or provision of these Terms & Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that term, condition, or provision. It also does not impair Jio Worldwide’s ability to enforce or apply that term, condition, or provision in the future.
International Shipments (U.S. Edition)
In the event that a conflict arises between these Terms & Conditions and terms on any Jio Worldwide air waybill, shipping label, or other transit documentation, the Terms & Conditions set out here will govern, but only to the extent that they do not contradict the rules governing liability for international carriage under the Warsaw Convention, the Montreal Convention, or any other applicable treaties or tariffs.
Rates and service quotations:
Quotations of service by employees and agents of Jio Worldwide will be accepted by reference to the customer’s information; however, rates and terms of service will depend upon actual shipment and on these Terms & Conditions being applicable. In this respect, different rates will apply when either:
- The shipper is an active customer in a valid Jio Worldwide account.
- The shipper can earn any form of discount through the respective account.
- Valid account holders who do not have discounts applied to their accounts will receive Jio Worldwide’s Standard List Rates when shipped.
- Shippers who have a valid Jio Worldwide account, have discounts applied to their account, and are charged to their account will be quoted account-specific rates.
In the event of any inconsistency between these terms & conditions and any written or oral statements concerning rates, services, features, or other conditions related to Jio Worldwide’s international services, these terms & conditions will be controlled. This includes services provided from the U.S. to international locations and terms related to the importation and inbound clearance of shipments into the U.S.

What Shipment Means:
A shipment is all documents and parcels travelling under one airway bill. This includes the sender’s full responsibility to ensure the shipment details are complete, accurate, and properly packed for safe transportation. All shipments will be transported through air courier or cargo services and may undergo mode changes during transit without prior notice. The shipment is under the carrier’s jurisdiction until delivered to the final destination address.
Online Shipment System
Every shipment with Jio Worldwide goes through our online schedule shipment system. This is a way for us to trace and monitor all shipments from origination to destination. The customer needs to make a responsible decision with respect to his shipments. Complaints at Jio Worldwide cannot be made about misquotation, miscommunication, or incorrect information.
Charges and Weights for Shipment
Shipment charges are dimensional or actual weight, whichever is higher. Dimensional-weight pricing applies to all shipments in customer-provided packaging. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges will be assessed based on the dimensional weight. Jio Worldwide reserves the right to assess dimensional-weight charges on packages that don’t adhere to the proper calculations.
